The Engineering assessment for the Rock Mill Dam No​. 9 off Mt Zion Rd. and Dam No. 4 on HRCD owned property on Stonewall Cemetery Rd. The U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) has dedicated the engineering resources to complete this assessment to meet current design standards and provide for the next fifty years of operation. Work continues to be delayed on the project due to changes in contract requirements. Once these issues are resolved project alternatives for the upgrades needed will be developed and shared here. Additional details will be posted here as they develop.

A public hearing regarding the plan to rehabilitate Hunter’s Run Structures 4 and 9 was held at the end of 2021 with the intent of informing the public of the ongoing work on these structures and elicit feedback from interested parties and organizations. In addition, Hunter’s Run structures 1, 2, and 3 were scheduled to begin their rehabilitation assessment beginning in the summer of 2022. Due to delays within NRCS this assessment has not started with no current start date available.
